Another milestone! This month, I celebrate the ten-year anniversary of the publication of my first crime novel, Pay To Play.
Pay To Play may have been ahead of its time. Flawed and unlikeable protagonists, like the ones in Furious, the FBI drama series streaming on Hulu, weren’t exactly being embraced when my procedural was published on September 20, 2016.
A fabulous book launch party was held at the former SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia. Since then, the crime thriller has continued to receive rave reviews and high ratings from readers. I updated the cover a few years ago.
A book, no matter its publication date, is always new to someone who hasn’t read it yet.
Here’s the premise for Pay To Play: Special Agent Kari Wheeler may have made the worst decision of her life.
